While the movie was entertaining, and certainly had plenty of weighty drama, I left the theater feeling somehow cheated. Here we go, flying off to jungles of another continent, you would expect plenty of plot potential. Plenty of interesting animals and lovely scenery and adventure, right? Wrong. We meet some domesticated dogs and some sort of strange bird. We get some plot movement with another old adventurer, but there really isn't anything else. This is one of those films that I'll watch once but doubt I'll bother buying the DVD. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I feel like I wasted my money, but it's not something you can watch over and over like the Incredibles or Monsters, Inc.Get more detail about Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray].
