Cheap Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray]

Of course, there is something to see every year. It would be either paying the bills, death, politics, issues and Pixar. There's also an annual event coming. It would be either your birthday, a very important event and yet again, Pixar. Amongst all those things that I've listed, Pixar will be the best thing to look forward to each year.

I've been a fan of every Pixar film since I was 12 years old. That was the theatrical release for "Finding Nemo." The movie made so much money that it surpassed "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Lion King." It has made so much money and represented a huge impact towards me and my life of animation movies. Since then, I've been looking forward to each of the Pixar releases. Many Pixar fans out there will definitely tell you their favorite (to me, other than "Nemo," it would also have to be either "Toy Story" or "WALL-E") And maybe some people will tell you their least (for many critics, "Cars," for me, "The Incredibles" or "A Bug's Life"). But even the worst of the Pixar films are still considered greatness with great animation and great story.

Now, "Up" comes out and marks the tenth animation movie made by the powerhouse of animation. It's also the first one to be presented in Disney Digital 3D and continues the greatness of quality. I thought that this was Pixar's best film since "Finding Nemo," "Toy Story" and "WALL-E." It definitely beats other Pixar movies like "The Incredibles," "Cars" and "Ratatouille." I thought the whole movie was pretty dramatic yet somewhat sad.

"Up" tells the story of a 78 year old balloons salesman named Carl Fredricksen. When he was a child, he met and fell in love with Ellie. Eventually, they got married but the one thing that never happened was that they never had kids, nor did they go out for an adventure. Their biggest dream was to go out to South America to visit the great explorer, Charles Muntz.

Now developers threaten to destroy Carl's house that meant the world to him. When they assist him to a retirement home, Carl fulfills his dream to Ellie by tying hundreds or thousands of balloons to go to South America. On the way, he meets a chubby Wilderness Explorer named Russell, who suffers an absent father. Russell hops on board and convinces Carl to merit his badge.

They embark on an adventure to meet Carl's biggest idol, Charles Muntz. However, Charles Muntz is a villain who likes to hurt birds. So he wants to kill Carl's dog Dug and the bird Kevin (which Russell names). Kevin is a very speechless bird with lots of sympathy. Will Carl ever accomplish his goal?

You know. Nothing goes wrong with Pixar. There's plenty of great animation and a great story that is yet to be told. And with a movie like "Up," it holds one of Pixar's darkest stories. It's somewhat like another "Finding Nemo" where the main character's wife dies and he has to deal with a child in the next life. And with a movie like "Up," there was plenty of emotions and drama. Especially sensible drama.

"Up" was the best film that was seen in 3D ever. There were plenty of unnecessary 3-D visuals in movies like "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and especially in "Chicken Little." With "Meet the Robinsons" and "Bolt," the visuals weren't that bad. But "Up" had the best 3-D visuals.

"Up" is easily the best film of 2009, and I'm glad it is. Everyone should think so. It's also the best 3-D experience ever.Get more detail about Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray].
