This movie has some heavy doses of weirdness that make it hard for me to digest, but "Dug" the-talking-dog really grows on me. He makes me laugh out loud and love him at the same time. There is a strong life lesson at the end of this movie about the value of committed relationships adding more to life than achieving shared life goals. After seeing it the first time by renting it, I purchased the Deluxe 2-disk addition - not because I wanted the digital copy but because the special features are really great and you can't get them on the single disk DVD.
