This is a wonderful movie with a beautiful story, but it is not a movie for really little kids. Our 2 year old son was in tears for much of the movie, upset with what was happening, and I am pretty sure not understanding the underlying story. Some of the violence was a bit too much, with the villian shooting at the kid at one point.
