The cartridge actually has three different games on it and each game has a different level. There is a matching game, and a swimming race game, and a game in which they have to find what doesn't match. I bought it over the summer for my 3 1/2 year old daughter for a long car trip and she has mastered it. Granted, it is the only one we have so she has to play it anytime she wants to play her Leapster but I think the packaging says for a 4-6 year old and I really think a 5 or 6 year old would get bored with it pretty quick. However, it has been a great investment for our family.
