I have had so much fun playing this game. I've been playing video games for a long time and I can't remember the last time I became this immersed in the plot and characters. Excellent graphics, especially how the expressions of people are rendered throughout the game. I really enjoyed the soundtrack also. It has a futuristic, wierd techno sound that you don't hear too often. I thought the RPG elements worked great in this game. It allows you to allocate points into weapon specializations and skills after gaining experience. The classes that you can choose suite very different playing styles and add to the replay value.
I only have two minor complaints though. The AI of your teammates can act stupid at times, such as reacting slowly during firefights or getting stuck in some place. Also, the movement of your character around the world and the combat system are both somewhat cumbersome and slow. Nothing to really break the game though and I'm sure the combat system will be improved in Mass Effect 2. Definite buy!Get more detail about Mass Effect.
